More involved going to the smaller/alternate robot mode surprisingly. Transformation to vehicle mode is intuitive.

The shelf presence is definitely there and the articulation(especially the mouth, neck and ab crunch) are definitely appreciated. While the ratchets are tight they aren’t consistent, some click softer than others. The fingers and thumb are pinned, hopefully they won’t go loose over time. Surprised to see no ratchets on the wrists and not much beyond a simple tab/socket and the contour of the inner thumb keeping the handle of the combined weapon gripped by the hand. It has to be placed with the hand almost closed(thumb pivoted to the side instead of up surprisingly while the fingers aren’t completely closed) and somewhat fit/wiggled into place from the front rather than from the top despite the minimal clearance given. The combined weapon can be held with 1 hand but it’s kind of tricky to secure into the hand. Best to use leverage holding other surrounding parts to brace some of the bigger ratchet joints. Some of the ratchets on this are very tight.
